Cold Creek Meadow is an original oil painting on 9″ x 12″ canvas board.

This painting was inspired by a view of Mt. Lincoln in California’s Tahoe National Forest. It’s not an exact replica of a photo. It’s a creative composition of a beautiful vista I saw while mountain biking in the forest. In the background you have Mt. Lincoln and the Pacific Crest Trail. In the foreground you have a meadow just beyond Cold Creek with the sun casting a streak of light across it almost guiding you to the autumn colored trees. Oh look! There’s a little canoe inviting you to float over to the meadow and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature in the mountains.
