Lazy River. Painting #54
Lazy River is painting #54. This one came about as sort of an accident. I had started doing a totally different painting with a black canvas. That didn’t work out so I had to ditch it. The only problem is that I had already put out the paint. Couldn’t waste it so I grabbed a new canvas, picked a Bob Ross episode to follow and tried to do it as fast I could. Even on a smaller canvas, following Bob, it took me around 45 minutes. He sure does work fast!
This painting is from S2E10 of the Joy of Painting.

Equipment
Overall this painting is simple to do. I challenge you, if you’re a painter, to give this one, or any one, a try at matching Bob’s speed. It’s nearly impossible!
I do like the way this one turned out though. Aside from the foliage highlights, the stream looks kind of cool. If I had more paint, the highlights would have probably turned out better.
Not too bad! What can you expect from a 45 minute painting if you’re not Bob Ross? What do you think of it? Want to buy it? You can find it in my Art Store.
Happy painting!
